The goal of this collab graphic/project, was really the result of a conversation between black and asian designer/artists. I think the saying “yellow peril supports black power”, has strength and power and is a great starting point for inquiry conversations into solidarity between BIPOC groups. The youth can be empowered by aligning with this saying. Same thing goes with the symbols we've used, there's more abstraction, more conversations. We felt the need to create new symbols, inspired by historical messages to hopefully create new systems of support between different minorities.
